Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Light beige cooking pot with a black lid knob and gray handles on each side.

Cooking Guide

1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F

2. Brown the Sausage: Bring a pot of water to a boil. While the water heats, place your skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bulk Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until the sausage is completely browned (6–8 minutes), draining any excess grease if needed.

3. Boil the Gnocchi: When sausage is about halfway done, drop in the frozen gnocchi and cook for just 3-4 minutes. Once the gnocchi start to float, drain gnocchi and add right into sausage

4. Combine Sauce & Gnocchi: Turn the heat on the stove off. Pour the entire container of Supreme Sauce into the skillet with the sausage, stirring to combine and pick up the browned bits.

5. Bake: Transfer pasta to a 9x13 baking dish and put into the preheated oven. Bake uncovered for about 8-10 minutes

6. Top with Cheese: Remove from the oven and cover the top of pasta evenly in shredded mozzarella. followed by the grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly. You can switch your oven to Broil for the last 2 to 3 minutes to get the cheese golden-brown and bubbling.

7. Rest & Serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes so the sauce settles.

Tips

• Want to add a pop of color and veggies? Stir a couple of handfuls of fresh baby spinach into the sauce right before adding the cooked gnocchi—it wilts down instantly!

• Kick Up the Heat: If you love a little spice, use our hot homemade sausage or fold a pinch of Calabrian chili paste or extra red pepper flakes right into the sauce.

• The Cheese Swap: Swap out the mozzarella for smoked provolone or fontina to give the baked topping a deeper, wood-fired flavor profile.
