Creamy Cannellini Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Delallo cannellini beans, drained and rinsed (these are already cooked)
  • ¼ cup of Sartori Garlic and Herb spread
  • 2tbs cup extra-virgin olive oil (plus more for drizzling)
  • The juice of one small lemon (about 2tbs)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Guide

  1. Combine ingredients: In a food processor or blender, combine the cannellini beans, olive oil, garlic and herb spread, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend: Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  3. Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with your     favorite bread, chips, crackers, or vegetables.

Tips:

    • For a thicker dip, reserve a small amount of the cannellini bean liquid or water and add it gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
    • Add extra minced garlic for a deeper garlic flavor
    • Experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the flavor. Try adding a pinch of cumin, paprika, or cayenne pepper.
    • Serve this dip as an appetizer, a side dish, or a spread for sandwiches.
