Marinated Chicken Sandwich with Prosciutto & Mozzarella

Ingredients

  • 4 parmesan and garlic marinated chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 8 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 4 La Bella Romana piccolo focaccia
  • Balsamic glaze

Cooking Guide

  1. Preheat: Preheat oven to 350
  2. Cool the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts until cooked through and golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side. Let cool slightly.
  3. Assemble the sandwiches: Slice the focaccia in half. Put chicken on bottom half. Top with a slice of prosciutto and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. 
  4. Toast and serve: Place the sandwiches (still open) in the oven until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted (about 5-10 minutes). Drizzle with balsamic glaze, close sandwich, and serve immediately.
