1/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar (we used dark for a deeper flavor)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
2 packs of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
Cooking Guide
Preheat oven according to directions on cinnamon rolls package
Caramelize and cook the peaches: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add vanilla, then peaches. Coat peaches in vanilla and butter mixture. Add the cinnamon, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir until it dissolves and begins to bubble. Remove from heat
Fill the cinnamon rolls: remove cinnamon rolls from the package. On laid out parchment paper, unroll the cinnamon roll log so it is one long piece of dough. Add peach pie filling on top of the dough. Roll back up into a log and cut the cinnamon rolls on pre-cut lines. Repeat for both packs of cinnamon rolls.
Bake: Add the individual rolls to a 9x13” pan lined with parchment paper. Pour any extra filling and sauce from the peaches over the rolls. Bake according to cinnamon roll directions.
Add Icing: Remove from oven and add the icing from cinnamon rolls
Enjoy!
Tips:
Bake the rolls in individual muffin tins
You can adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less sugar
Sub cinnamon with nutmeg in the peach filling
